Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, The Incredible Hulk 2, TV DVD News, Green Lantern, I Am Legend Prequel, Comic Previews

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Michael Sheen plays the Lycan who led his fellow werewolves in an uprising against their vampire masters. Sci Fi Wire quotes him here as saying: "Well, it goes back into the story of Lucian. So, hopefully, it will allow people to watch the first one again in a different light, given what you learn about what happened before." The film is directed by Patrick Tatopoulos and opens on Jan. 23, 2009.

The Incredible Hulk 2

Tim Blake Nelson spoke here with Ain't It Cool News about being The Leader in the sequel saying: "That's the plan. That's what they tell me, but I don't know when that's happening or what the details are but I am eager to do it and I hear that's in the works. I would tell you if I knew more, but I honestly don't."

Green Lantern

Producer Gary Scott Thompson talks about developing the script for the 2010 film in this MP3 interview with Blip.TV.

I Am Legend Prequel

Ain't It Cool News says here that the prequel may not be happening. Instead, the producers may go some place completely different. They say: "Let's start at the beginning. Smith is actually the one who developed the initial story. It took place several years before the original film and there were still pockets of survivors and the story centered around Smith interacting, bonding, and ultimately failing to save them. For months this was the story. Warner's didn't much care for it and Smith and [D.B.] Weiss eventually came on board and all parties agreed to change things up."
