Red Tails

Anthony Hemingway has been picked to direct the film based on a story by George Lucas. The story is about the Tuskegee Airmen, those flyers who were the first African-American fighter pilots in U.S. military history. John Ridley is writing the script, while shooting is to begin next March. The title comes from their plane's colors.

The Graysons

The CW Network is betting on a new show called "The Graysons" produced by McG. Screen Rant has a page devoted to the fan film that may have given the idea a jump start. It is here. The show is seen as a possible replacement for "Smallville," if this is indeed the shows final season. If not they would be companion pieces. Variety says: "The Graysons will follow the world of Dick 'DJ' Grayson before he takes on the iconic Robin identity and aligns himself with Batman. In the one-hour 'Graysons,' which will be set in modern times, young DJ will face challenges involving first loves, young rivals and his family as he grows up."

TV DVD News has posted info about "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C." (5th & Final Season) here, "Dynasty" (Season 3, Vol. 2) here, "The Marvel Superheroes" (Gift Set) here, "Spider-Man" (3 Disc Set) here, "Tales from the Cryptkeeper" (Season 2) here, "My Pet Monster" (Complete Series) here.
