Variety reports here that Warner Brothers has purchased the rights to Yoshiaki Kawajiri's anime "Ninja Scroll" into a live action feature. Alex Tse will write the script.

Moviehole reports here that John Travolta spoke to Australia's The Sunday Herald Sun, saying he doesn't plan to return as Edna Turnblad. Travolta said: "I think once is enough. I did it and I did it well but I'm not a big sequel guy."
