The Graveyard Book
The Neil Gaiman novel, has hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list, and Gaiman said here to MTV about the movie version already in the works. He says that the story, about a young boy raised by ghosts in a graveyard has been bid for before it was even published. A few companies planned it as animation, but Gaiman wanted live-action. Gaiman said: "I want to see the ghosts for real. I want to be able to touch the graveyard. I don’t think it’s going to be transported to a graveyard in Los Angeles where they've been burying bathing beauties or anything. I think we're actually going to stick with where the book is written and film that. And I think part of the idea is that they know they can also do the special effects cheaply."
Untitled Werewolf Film
