The Avengers

Last June Louis Leterrier, director of "The Incredible Hulk," hinted here to MTV that the last shot of the film could be taken two ways: "…if you decide that he's smiling, in control, then he's a good guy, that's 'The Hulk 2.' If Hulk is a failure, then he looks up and smirks and that's eventually the Hulk of the Avengers - - the uncontrollable beast that they need to team up to stop." "Iron Man" writers (and probable writers of "The Avengers ) Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, also spoke here to MTV about their thoughts on the idea. Fergus said: "I hope 'The Avengers' embraces that. You don't want like 10 super-badass good guys fighting together. Where's the fun in that? Let's break it off a little. Friends or colleagues who become enemies is always an interesting thing because you know it's based on love and friendship and that's always the worst thing to have turn bad - - is someone you actually care about and someone you actually believe in."

Jonah Hex

Hollywood Elsewhere claims here that the lead contender for the title role is Josh Brolin.

TV DVD News has posted info about "Zoom" (Back to the 70's) here, "Dexter" (Season 1, Blu-Ray) here, "Battlestar Galactica" (Season 4.0) here, "Swingtown" (Season 1) here, "The Real Ghostbusters" (Complete Series) here, "Night Court" (Season 2) here.

Green Lantern

Latino Review says here that Ryan Gosling is rumored to be wanted to play Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in the 2010 film, with a script by Marc Guggenheim. Remember, it's a rumor, he hasn't been offered anything yet. But word is that the studio likes Gosling for the role.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Cinema Blend posted this story that says that Tim Burton may replace Gore Verbinski as the director of the 2012 scheduled sequel.
