Clash of the Titans, More TV on the Net, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Incredible Hulk, Afterwards, Mike Fright, Comic Previews


Clash of the Titans

The Hollywood Reporter says that Lawrence Kasdan will write the script for a remake of the 1981 Ray Harryhausen classic "Clash of the Titans." At least they have picked up a writer who has an appreciation of epic adventure.



More TV on the Net

CBS has signed deals with an assortment of websites (that includes AOL, MSN, CNET, Comcast, Joost, Bebo, Sling Media, Netvibes and Brightcove ) to host its TV programs. Some of those same websites have a similar deal with NBC and News Corp. CBS said this move solidifies its "position as the most widely distributed professional content provider on the Web." Advertising Age said: "The breadth of the deals are a clear sign that CBS is placing many bets at a time when no one has yet emerged as the hit distributor for professional, copyrighted online video."



Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Tim Story has finally confirmed that Galactus will appearin "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," so now everyone wants to know, will he be live or CGI? In a kind of answer Ain't It Cool News is reporting Laurence Fishburne as the voice Galactus. On the bad news side, the same site is also reporting that the film recently tested in Seattle and overall reaction was "sooo bad."



The Incredible Hulk

Edward Norton has been set by to play Bruce Banner in Marvel
Studios
' "
The Incredible Hulk," according to this Daily Variety report. The film is scheduled to shoot this summer in Toronto, the set opens June 13, 2008. In this story Banner is on the run, avoiding capture long enough to cure himself. The script is by Zak Penn and directed by Louis Leterrier.




Afterwards

Evangeline Lilly is to make her feature debut opposite John
Malkovich
in "
Afterwards." It will begin production in New York and Montreal in June. Romain Duris will play a workaholic lawyer drifting away from his ex-wife (Lilly) and daughter, and then he meets a mysterious doctor (Malkovich) who claims to have the power to predict people's deaths. Gilles Bourdos will direct based on the Guillaume Musso.
