Reelzchannels refers us from here to the first viral video over here promoting the new film (which recently confirmed the inclusion of Moriarty as a character).



John Carter of Mars

HitFix has posted here that the 2012 Andrew Stanton film has added Samantha Morton, Dominic West and Polly Walker to the cast. They join Taylor Kitsch (John Carter), Lynn Collins (Dejah Thoris) and Willem Dafoe (Tars Tarkis).

IMDB News tells us here that Gillian Anderson is trashing rumors that she is done with the franchise. Anderson said: "There isn't any reason not to do it. I feel a commitment to that group of people I worked with and we still enjoy doing it. There is no reason not to come together and do it again. If they can pull it off, we'll find a reason to make it."



Captain Britain

The Geek Files reports here that Gerald Butler is being linked to a film adaptation of the Marvel Comic character.



Excalibur

SciFi Wire says here that Bryan Singer will produce and potentially direct the remake.
