District 9

According to this story on Movie both star Sharlto Copley and director Neil Blomkamp revealed that they would both be interested in a sequel, if the film does as well as expected.

The Hobbit

CinemaSpy reports here that the film adaptation may have trouble due to a lawsuit brought by the author's family. Steven Maier, the spokesperson for the heirs, says they are is headed for a court date. He told the site: "The litigation process is moving swiftly forward with the trial due to commence in Los Angeles on 19 October. It is expected to last several weeks."

Batman 3 posted here some answers to the miriad rumors about the 2011 film, all from David Goyer.

Sci Fi Wire says here that Tim Roth hinted around that the Abomination might be showing up in the May 4, 2012 release film. About being singed for another film for Marvel Studios He said: "They have, but in a very different way… I don't want to get into it, but they signed me up for three [films]."
