Bazooka Joe
SlashFilm says here that Mark Hammer has been chosen to write a script by Michael Eisner and his Tornante Company. Now we've officially hit the bottom of the idea barrel.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Steven Spielberg is producing a 2011 biographical film. Spielberg said: "We are all honored that the King Estate is giving us the opportunity to tell the story of these defining, historic events… It is our hope that the creative power of film and the impact of Dr. King's life can combine to present a story of undeniable power that we can all be proud of." Now it appears that Dexter King negotiated the deal with Dreamworks, but did not include his brother Martin Luther King III or sister Bernice King. She says: "We are taking action. We cannot reveal what it is at this time… Dexter King has entered into an agreement without approval of his shareholders… It's about Dexter King and the empire he is trying to build with Madison Jones." More as this family fued comes to some end.

Red Dawn

Latino Review reports here that Dan Bradley has been chosen as director, Carl Ellsworth has written the script and the first actor cast in the film is Chris Hemsworth, as the lead wolverine. The film will be released on September 24th, 2010.
