Z.M.D.: Zombies of Mass Destruction
The Hollywood Reporter tells us here that Dirk Blackman and Howard McCain will adapt Kevin Grevioux's Red 5 comic. The film is due in 2011, but no other information has been announced. There is another film by the same name has been set to be released this year.

ComingSoon.net reports here that director Adam Marcus will bring us a 2009 remake of the 1943 original. Andy Fickman, producer, said: "We're just getting ready to start going out for casting on that, and we'll film that in New Orleans in the spring."

The Telegraph says here that they were told by Mark Strong (Sir Guy of Gisbourne) informed them that Cate Blanchete had joined the production, replacing Sienna Miller. Strong said: "I think Cate Blanchett is set to take the Maid Marian part. She is a wonderful actress and it would make it a much classier film if she was in it."
