The Great Gatsby

Baz Luhrmann is working on a brand new film adaptation of the F. Scott Fitgerald classic. No budget or cast information has been released.

Buck Rogers

ScreenRant says here that Frank Miller's next film project may well be the 2011 adaptation of the comic strip.

TV DVD News

TVShowsOnDVD.com has posted info about "Stargate SG-1" (DVD Movies) here, "Dallas" (Season 11) here, "Knots Landing" (Season 2) here, "Steve Canyon" (Vol. 1) here, "Cracker" (Complete Series) here, "Malcolm & Eddie" (Season 1) here.

Outlander

Io9 is saying here that the Vikings vs. Aliens film looks to have a January 23, 2009 release date. If you are interested the film has an official blog site here, and here are some trailers.

Heavy Metal

David Fincher is still working on the in-development 2010 animated project, a re-invention of the 1981 original. Fincher is not the only segment director mentioned in the project both Zack Snyder and Gore Verbinski are included. The film will be a series of animated segments. Each, presumably done by a different director. Fincher says: "We're still trying to get that made… I'm ready to bat clean-up. I'm ready to do whatever story no one else wants to do. We have like twenty-four stories and artwork for it. Zack Snyder is picking one and I think Verbinski has one that he likes. We're seeing where it ends up. I have time to do one or two and I have dibs on eight or nine, so somewhere in there we'll figure it out if we can ever get the money together."
