Remembering Mark Twain
Moviehole says here that Albert S. Ruddy told them that Clint Eastwood's next project is a biography of Samuel Clemens. Ruddy said: "I'm doing another movie with Clint in the spring called 'Remembering Mark Twain.' He's directing the movie, and he's gonna bookend the movie playing Samuel Clemens in the hospital. It's a really sweet, beautiful movie. So that's what I'm all about."
Season of the Witch
Reuters reports here that Stephen Graham has joined the cast for "Season of the Witch." The tale tells of 14th century knights escorting a girl thought to be the witch responsible for spreading the Black Plague. Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman play the knights while Graham will play a swindler and navigator. Production begins in early November in Austria and Hungary.

Dante's Inferno
Variety reports here that Universal Pictures now has the rights for the unreleased Electronic Arts video game to be called Dante's Inferno by the time it hits the marketplace next year. Both the Dante's Inferno game and movie involve a journey through the depths of hell.
Avengers: Earth's Greatest Heroes
This at posting at Marvel Animation Age says the "Hulk: Gamma Corps" animated series has been cancelled, even before production had begun.They go on to say the work being done there would be used in the upcoming "Avengers" cartoon. Joshua Fine, Director of Animation Development for Marvel Animation, said: "It became apparent to us that the creative work that was being done to bring Hulk's world and his villains to life was too good to relegate to his universe alone, and would be much better suited as part of an full-on Avengers scenario.
