Thor, WarGames: The Dead Code, TV DVD News, Watchmen, ABC & CBS New Seasons, Comic Previews


Latino Review published the rumor here that Marvel is throwing around some names to play the title role in "Thor," and they want Brad Pitt.

WarGames: The Dead Code

MGM Home Entertainment will release the 25th anniversary edition of "WarGames" on DVD, featuring newly produced audio commentaries and featurettes, on July 29. They will also release the direct-to-DVD sequel, "WarGames: The Dead Code" on the same day.

ABC & CBS New Seasons

ABC has announced that it will put forward only one new drama in the fall, David E. Kelley's "Life on Mars," about a police officer from our time who finds himself in 1970 America. ABC will also air a final season of "Scrubs," which was dropped by NBC. Also new is the Ashton Kutcher reality series "Opportunity Knocks" (described as a combination of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."). The upcoming fifth season of "Boston Legal" will be its last, but "Oprah's Big Give" won't return.
Variety reports that CBS will not renew "Moonlight" for a second season. Here is CBS's New schedule (all times are EST):
