Watchmen, Max Payne, TV DVD News, The Avengers, Bone, Comic Previews


Watchmen

It is a year until the release of the Zack Snyder directed "Watchmen." To keep the fans interested, the film's official site is previewing pictures of 5 characters from the movie. Point and click to see poster size looks at Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian, Patrick Wilson as Nite Owl, Matthew Goode as Ozymandias, Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach and Malin Akerman as Silk Spectre.




Max Payne

Mila Kunis has been cast opposite Mark Wahlberg in "Max Payne," based on the video game. Kunis plays an assassin teaming with the title character (Wahlberg) to avenge her sister's death, and the pair find themselves thronw in the midst of a conspiracy. John Moore will direct the script by Beau Thorne.

The Avengers

Writer Zak Penn said in this posting for Collider: "There's been the discussion about 'Avengers,' of doing . . . whatever the next iteration of computer animation is after this, the next step after 'Beowulf,' is something we would definitely consider for that."



Bone

This article in the Hollywood Reporter, says that Jeff Smith classic comic "Bone" has been picked up by Warner Brothers Pictures. No word on if the film will be live-action or animated or both, hints are that that will be based on filmmaker meetings. For more go to the official website.
