Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Stardust, Indy in 2008, Time Traveler's Wife, 36, Mike Fright, Comic Previews


Aqua Teen Hunger Force: The Movie

Variety is saying that the "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" movie will have a March release. With a length of 86 minutes the film tells of the origins of "Hunger Force" characters Meatwad, Frylock and Master Shake, and show an immortal piece of exercise equipment that is threatening the balance of galactic peace. The TV cast will revist their voice roles plus Bruce Campbell and Neil Peart of the band Rush will join them. The full press release is here.





Stardust

Ian McKellen has been brought on board to voice the narrator role in Stardust for director Matthew Vaughn. The movie follows a Neil Gaiman story of a young man who goes into the Faerie realm to retrieve a fallan star, to fullfil a promise he made to his beloved. He encounters witches, goblins, gnomes, talking animals and evil trees. Filming wrapped this fall, McKellen's voice work is post-production.Release is in July from Paramount Pitures.



Indy 4 in 2008

Producer George Lucas and director Steven Spielberg have confirmed the "movie forward" of a the new Indiana Jones project with filming to begin this summer for a release in May 2008. The working title for the film is "Indiana Jones and the Ravages of Time." David Koepp has written the screenplay that finally got the greenlight from both Lucas and Spielberg. Spielberg said: "George, Harrison and I are all very excited. We feel that the script was well worth the wait. We hope it delivers everything you'd expect from our history with Indiana Jones." Harrison Ford said: "I'm delighted to be back in business with my old friends," he said. "I don't know if the pants still fit, but I know the hat will." Lucas said: "These films are such great fun to make. I'm looking forward to reuniting with the team and starting this new journey."



The Time Traveler's Wife

Bruce Joel Rubin has been brought in to rewrite "The Time Traveler's Wife" for dirctor Robert Schwentke. Brad Pitt is producing the story of a Chicago librarian with a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel, brought on by stress and bad memories. The man meets and falls in love with a teenage heiress, but the couple's often out of sync because of his time traveling. The film is based on thenovel by Audrey Niffenegger.

Producer Robert De Niro told MTV that George Clooney will join the cast of directed by Marc Forster. Dean Georgaris wrote the remake of the French movie 36 Quai des Orfèvres about two cops whose competition for pormotion escalates into something ruthless, and beyond legality and morality. Filming is scheduled to start later this year in New York.
