Resident Evil: Afterlife

Coming Soon says here that the fourth film in the series is already in production in Toronto and will feature the return of Milla Jovovich's Alice. Ali Larter's Claire and Spencer Locke's K-Mart will also be back. This film will also feature Wentworth Miller as Claire's brother. There are also rumors of the addition of Eva Mendes and Jensen Ackles, but we don't have confirmation on that as yet. The Paul W. S. Anderson written, directed and produced project will open on August 27, 2010.

Day One

Variety reports here that NBC has decided that the series will now become a mini-series. The four hours (as opposed to the first 13 hours) will air after the Winter Olympics 2010. Angela Bromstad, President of prime time entertainment, said, "We've always looked at Day One as a big event for us and not necessarily a show that would be an ongoing, returning show for a second season."

Let Me In

Bloody Disgusting reports here that the remake of the Swedish film "Let the Right One In" (2008) will begin production this Fall in New Mexico, but the release date is just listed as 2010.

TV DVD News

TVShowsOnDVD.com has posted info about "Eleventh Hour" (Complete Series) here, "Big John, Little John" (Delayed) here, "Better Off Ted" (Season 1) here, "Robin Hood" (BBC Show's Season 3) here, "Big Love" (Season 3) here, "The Spectacular Spider-Man" (Vol. 5) here.

Halloween 3D

Deadline Hollywood tells us here that production on the film has been shut down by the Weinstein Company. They say that things were moving just too fast, and they were just not ready to start yet. JoBlo quotes director Patrick Lussier over here as saying: "All of us, Bob, Malek, Todd and myself were all on the same creative page. There was a very narrow window for us to move forward. That window closed for now. After Drive Angry, there's a chance it'll open again."

Transformers 3

Superhero Hype has here passed on Michael Bay's posting on his official forum that the third film in the series will come out in 2011. Here is part of what Bay posted: "Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012. Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters. P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you."

Kill Bill 3

BadTaste.it says here that Quentin Tarantino has voiced his intention to make the follow up film. They even post a clip of the Italian talk show where he made the assertion. No other info available.
