Empire Online has said here that Marlon Wayans is in "advanced talks" to replace Eddie Murphy to play the comedy legend. Bill Condon will direct.



Venom

Variety reports here that Gary Ross is making a deal to follow up his script for "Spider-Man 4" with the gig of rewriting and directing the 2012 spin-off for Sony's Columbia Pictures.



Predators

Fandango reports here that the Robert Rodriguez reboot has added Adrien Brody and Topher Grace to the cast that already includes Alice Braga, Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, Walt Goggins, Danny Trejo and UFC fighter Oleg Taktarov. The film is set to open on July 7, 2010.

The Man Who Killed Don Quixote

MTV Movie Blogs say here that Terry Gilliam's project is back up and running. Gilliam said: "We're up and running again, we've rewritten the script and finally got it back, the budget's come in... and I think we've found our Quixote! But who's it going to be? Well, I'm not going to tell you, but it'll start next Spring."



Game of Death

Cinemablend said here that Wesley Snipes is set to star in Abel Ferrara's story about a politician's bodyguard protecting his client from the world's five top assassins. Also in the film are Zoe Bell and Robert Davi.



30 Days of Night: Dark Days

Horror Asylum has this article about the sequel, saying that production begins on the 20th of this month, with a scheduled wrap on the 24th of November. Melissa George returns as Stella, who in this story joins a bunch of vampire hunters in order to kill Lilith, the vampire responsible for the deaths in her Alaskan town. Robert Tapert, of Ghost House Pictures, who confirmed the shoot said: "Ben Ketai is up in Vancouver now getting ready to shoot. I think principal photography is coming along in two weeks. It's a really good script."
