Rapunzel Unbraided

Sci-Fi Wire has this story about how this Disney Princess is different than all the others. The film is set for a December 2010 release.

Dr. Horrible

If you missed the segment on the Emmys, Sci-Fi Wire has posted it here.

Jack Kirby

Slash Film says here that the estate of the creator may have been influenced by the success of the Siegel and Shuster estates in getting some rights back to Superman. They are suing to reclaim Kirby's rights to control "The Fantastic Four," "Captain America," "X-Men," "Iron Man," "Thor," "Avengers" and others. The difference between this suit and most is that it is being handled by the same lawyer who won those Superman rights back.

TV DVD News

TVShowsOnDVD.com has posted info about "Route 66" (Season 3, Vol. 2) here, "Kyle XY" (Season 3) here, "Highlander: The Series" (Season 1, Blu-ray) here, "Married... with Children" (Season 11) here, "The Jerry Lewis Show" (The Collection) here, "Legend of the Seeker" (Season 1) here.

Ray Harryhausen

Cinematical has posted this interview with the special effects legend, his interviewer? Tim Burton. It is an interesting 25 minutes.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Total Film reports here that Johnny Depp told them that Dick Cook was the only reason he signed to do the sequel, and since Studio Head Cook has left Disney, now Depp will wait and read the script before he commits to really do anything.

Priest

Empire Online tells us here that Christopher Plummer and Brad Dourif have joined the cast of the 2010 Vampire film.
