Cheech and Chong's Smokin' Animated Movie
CHUD says here that Big Vision Entertainment and Chamber Bros. Entertainment have bought up the pair's catalog to make into animated features. Tommy Chong said: "It's great to be doing a movie where Cheech and I never have to get out of bed or be on camera." Cheech Marin added: "It's about time that we got animated because we've been doing animation without the animation for years. Whether you watch it smokin' a fattie or stone-cold sober, it's just plain funny."
The Crow
SuperheroHype says here that Stephen Norrington will write and direct a new adaptation of the comic created by James O'Barr. The original film version was made in 1994 and starred Brandon Lee.

ScreenRant.com says here that there is a November 20, 2009 release date, moved up from 2010, for the "Twilight" sequel. Now that's a turn around, considering they only named a director last week and the film isn't even written yet.

ComingSoon.net says here that the 2011 film <AKA "TR2N"> is readying for its Sping 2009 production start and, while Jeff Bridges will appear there is no announcement of a male lead, the cast has grown by Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett.
