Academy Awards

ComicBookResources says here that Hugh Jackman will host the 81st annual Academy Awards. Wonder if he'll sing? BTW: Over here at Total Film, Jackman tells some spoilers about about Gambit and Deadpool. Among other things, Jackman said: "I have to be very careful how I talk about Deadpool, because it's something I'm really excited about in the movie, where it plays and how it plays. I just can't think right now how I can tell you about it without giving away some really cool ideas! That's where David Benioff was really smart, how coolly he brought that character in."

Sgt. Rock

Guy Ritchie spoke here with MTV and says that he's got the actor for the title role of the 2012 project. He says the actor is a "new person," that Easy Company is the in the film and that there are budgetary concerns. Richie says: "I think people are slightly intimidated by the size of the budget, but I think we have a good script."
