The Happytime Murders

The Jim Henson Co. has hired Dee Robertson and Todd Berger to write a script for Muppet Film Noir movie. The film tells of puppet detectives forced to solve a series of murders surrounding the inner workings of a popular kid's show: The Happytime Gang. (Isn't that the name of the puppet show that was a central part of an "Angel" episode? No, wait, that was Happy Smile Time. Close though. And there is a Happy Time Productions, still no connection)

Schrödinger's Girl

Director Huw Bowen says that the film should be done by the end of October and that they're deep in post right now. Bowen said: "The film is about Rebecca, a disgraced scientist conducting research into alternate universes. She discovers a way to travel between universes and then finds that her parallel-world counterparts have their own agendas."

Goonies: The Musical

Variety reports here about what cast members of the original say about the possibility. Richard Donner said: "We tried really hard, and Steven [Spielberg] said, 'Let’s do it.' We had a lot of young writers submit work, but it just didn't seem to call for it. I'm in the process of trying to get it done as a musical on Broadway. Wouldn't that be great?"
