Spider-Man 4

IGN says here that director Sam Raimi and star Tobey Maguire have reportedly reached deals for not only "Spider-Man 4" but "Spider-Man 5" as well. And here they talk about the 2012 "Venom" movie.

Bat Out of Hell

The first full official synopsis for Joe Dante's film has come to light. With screenplay by Drew McWeeny and Scott Swan, the film was teased with the words "on a red-eye flight from L.A. to New York during which hijackers confront the monstrous cargo." Here is more of the story: "As a red eye flight from Los Angeles to New York takes off, everything seems to be normal. That is until the co-pilot kills the pilot and a rouge (sic) group of coach passengers head into first class armed and ready to kill. Their claim - there are 9 passengers in the front of the plane who must die tonight. They are vampires, and our 'heroes' will crash the plane if they have to in order to ensure what must be done is done. Not willing to die without fighting, the vampires unleash their fury in a battle of strength and wits six miles high, and all before the sun rises on an unknowing New York City."

TV DVD News

TVShowsOnDVD.com has posted info about "Desperate Housewives" (Season 4) here & here, "The Banana Splits Adventure Hour" (Best of) here, "30 Rock" (Season 2) here, "The Lone Ranger" (75th Anniversary) here, "Popeye" (Vol. 3) here, "Bones" (Season 3) here and "Deadwood" (Complete Series) here.

300 Prequel

Gerard Jones said here in Superhero Hype: "I've heard some backroom chatter, but nothing more, so I don't know if it would be a sequel or a prequel. I don't want say anymore than that, because I really don't know. I haven't read anything. I can't see it myself--sequel for me absolutely not, but I just mean the idea generally, I'm really not sure which way they would go with that."

Sherlock Holmes

When Robert Downey Jr plays Sherlock Holmes in the Guy Ritchie's 2010 film, he will have an unexpected foe. Latino Review says that Russell Crowe will fill more of the time he is getting from the "Nottingham" delays to play Professor James Moriarty.
