The Eighth Wonder

The Hollywood Reporter says that Twentieth Century Fox will be distibuting the action-adventure movie that stars and is produced by Nicole Kidman and written by Simon Kinberg. What we can find out about the plot is: An archaeological discovery sets off a globe-spanning race. That's all we know so far.

Jeff Foxworthy Gets Animated

Variety reports here that Jeff Foxworthy will star in an animated series for Fox. The series is about a dysfunctional family in the world of NASCAR.

Green Lantern

Latino Review has here killed a rumor about David Boreanaz playing Hal Jordon. The rumor may have started because Boreanaz voiced the character in the make for DVD film "Justice League: The New Frontier." El Mayimbe wrote: "The script is out to a few name actors and David ISN'T NOT ONE OF THEM. For starters, Hal Jordan is 27 in the script and David is pushing 40."


Dread Central says here that Nu Image is wanting Brett Ratner to direct the new movie. They have considered everyone from Robert Rodriguez to Rob Zombie, but Ratner is possibly the least expected one to be at the helm.
