CSI, Mike O'Hearn, TV DVD News, The Green Hornet, Superheroes on MP3, Comic Previews

The Hollywood Reporter says here that Laurence Fishburne is negotiating to succeed William Petersen as the star of CBS' "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." Word is that he would play a new character, described as a doctor/scientist outsider to the CSI unit who has the same genetic profile as a serial killer but hasn't previously acted on any homicidal impulses.

Mike O'Hearn

Slashfilm says here that Mike "Titan" O'Hearn ("American Gladiators") is being considered for both title roles in Lionsgate's "Conan" and Marvel Studios' "The First Avenger: Captain America" Some of you may remember he played Superman in the fan film "World's Finest" by Sandy Collora. Here is that film.

TV DVD News has posted info about "Scrubs" (Season 7) here, "Family Guy" (Season 6) here, "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show" (Complete Series) here, "Mutant X" (Complete Series) here, "The Cosby Show" (Complete Series) here, "House, M.D." (Season 4) here and "Heroes" (Season 2) here.

The Green Hornet

Superhero Hype printed here some stuff one of their fans saw on David Letterman, when Seth Rogen was on: "Seth talks about diet and working out with a trainer to get ready to play Brit. He ended the segment by doing a running dive 17 feet across a swimming pool set up on 53rd Street while wearing a black business suit and tie. Seth lost his glasses during the stunt but managed to come in fourth in the Purina diving competition for dogs. It was a cool segment and it looks like he's already lost some weight."
