Justice League of America

IGN says here that next week the cast of the live action "Jusitce League" Movie will be unveiled. However there are reports about several cast members in the George Miller-directed project. Both Ain't It Cool News and IESB.net have reported Adam Brody, Common, Teresa Palmer and Scott Porter have been added to the roster. The reports say that Brody is playing Wally West (The Flash) and Common would be John Stewart (the Green Lantern). IESB points to Palmer not as Wonder Woman but rather Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra's Al Ghul. AICN says Porter is playing Superman, but IESB responds "our sources are telling us that he was up for the role of The Flash against Adam Brody and obviously Brody won out, we've heard nothing about him being cast as Superman." Barry Allen, the original Flash, has reportedly become a part of the movie.

Green Acres

The Hollywood Reporter says here that after acquiring the rights from the widow of the shows creator (Jay Sommers) Richard L. Bare, director all 168 episodes of CBS' "Green Acres," is hoping that the series will appeal to the networks who are short of original material due to the writers strike. Bare says: "Studios are going to be searching for properties that have been written and ready to go into production without upsetting WGA in any way."

Strike News

Carlton Cuse has to finish up episodes of "Lost" in the post-production process, crossing Writers Guild of America strike picket lines to make sure that should ABC start to air new episodes of "Lost" early next year, those episodes will be completed. Cuse said: "We feel we owe that to our fans. We would harm our franchise if we didn't do it ourselves." Cuse made it clear that he is in total support of the strike, and if there was no chance that ABC would air the filmed episodes of the fourth season, he wouldn't be back. Production is shutting down on "Bionic Woman" and "Battlestar Galactica," both of whom share production facilities in Vancouver, B.C.

Angels & Demons

Executives at Columbia Pictures have postponed production on the Ron Howard and Tom Hanks' "The Da Vinci Code" prequel "Angels & Demons." Screenwriter Akiva Goldsman's script still needs work, and he is on strike. The film's release date has from the end of 2008 to 2009.
