Void Moon
Yves Simoneau will direct Michael Christofer's adaptation of the Michael Connelly novel "Void Moon." Producer Avi Lerner says no one has been cast, and: "Offers are out for all the main roles." The novel tells of a former robber of casino gamblers who gives up her life of crime to become a Porsche saleswoman. But when her past threatens to be exposed, she returns to her former line of work and faces her old nemesis: a shady private investigator who moonlights doing dirty work for casino owners.
Sylvester Stallone is in talks to write and direct a remake of the Charles Bronson film series starting with "Death Wish." Rick Sands, MGM chief operating officer, said: "We are looking at our library to determine which potential franchise properties make the most sense for us to produce, and Death Wish was clearly one that jumped out. We hope to get a deal done with Sylvester Stallone to direct and star, and like the Rocky and Rambo films, we see this as another potential franchise for him."
